　　This college undertakes research,design and application of electric melting furnaces for glass production. The book <<Electric Melting and Electric Heating of glass>>was published by Shanghai East China University of Technology Press.In the past ten odd years ，we have introduced ，modified and designed dozens of production lines of all-electric melting furances，electric-aided melting furances and electric forehearths.The all-electric melting furances were exported to the Republic of South Africa and two furances with melting capacity of 30t/d have put into operation in china. Typical projects completed since 2001 include the the Laiyang Special Material Factory,Wujiang Lamp Holders and Lamps Factory,Longhai Glass Products Factory，Futai Glass Technological Co,Yahcneg City Huaou Industry Ltd.Company,Sutian Chunhong Glass   Products Factory.
